Cenforce (Sildenafil 100 MG)

Cenforce 100 mg Tablet is a prescription-only medication containing Sildenafil Citrate 100 mg, manufactured by Centurion Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., India. Available as a strip of 10 blue, film-coated tablets, it is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. As a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, it enhances blood flow to the penis to facilitate an erection during sexual stimulation. It may also be used off-label for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) under medical supervision.

How to Use Cenforce 100 mg Tablet

• Dosage: Take 1 tablet (100 mg) 30–60 minutes before sexual activity, with a maximum of 1 dose per 24 hours. Dose may be adjusted (50–200 mg) by a doctor based on response.
• Swallow whole with water, with or without food. Avoid high-fat meals or grapefruit juice, as they may delay absorption. Do not crush or chew.
• Overdose: Seek emergency help for severe dizziness, fainting, priapism, or chest pain.

How Tablet Works

Sildenafil Citrate inhibits the PDE5 enzyme, increasing cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) levels, which relaxes penile smooth muscles and dilates blood vessels to improve blood flow for an erection with sexual stimulation. For PAH, it reduces lung blood vessel pressure. Effects start within 30–60 minutes and last 4–6 hours.
