- Cryptococcal meningitis (brain and spinal cord infection)
- Oropharyngeal/esophageal candidiasis (severe thrush)
- Prevention of fungal infections in immunocompromised patients (e.g., HIV/AIDS, chemotherapy, or transplant patients)
