How Tablet Works
Sildenafil Citrate inhibits the PDE5 enzyme, increasing cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) levels. This relaxes penile smooth muscles and dilates blood vessels, enhancing blood flow to achieve an erection with sexual stimulation. For PAH, it relaxes lung blood vessels, reducing heart workload. Effects begin within 30–60 minutes and last 4–6 hours. Sexual arousal is required for ED treatment.
