Cialis 20 mg Tablet is a prescription-only medication containing Tadalafil 20 mg, manufactured by Eli Lilly and Company or its licensed generics (e.g., Lupin Ltd., India). Supplied in blisters or strips of 2–10 yellow, film-coated tablets, it is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adult men. As a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, it enhances penile blood flow for erections and relaxes prostate/bladder muscles to improve urinary symptoms. It may also be used for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) under medical supervision.

How to Use Cialis 20 MG Tablet

• Dosage:

  • ED (as needed): 10–20 mg 30 minutes before sexual activity, with 20 mg as the maximum dose per 24 hours. Adjust to 5 mg if needed, per doctor’s advice.

  • ED (daily): Typically, 2.5–5 mg, not 20 mg, taken daily at the same time.

  • BPH or ED/BPH: Usually 5 mg daily; 20 mg is not standard for this use.

• Swallow whole with water, with or without food. Avoid grapefruit juice, as it may increase side effects. Do not split or chew.

• Overdose: Seek immediate help for fainting, prolonged erection, or severe dizziness.

How Tablet Works

Tadalafil inhibits PDE5, increasing cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) levels to relax penile smooth muscles and boost blood flow for erections with sexual arousal. For BPH, it relaxes prostate and bladder muscles, improving urine flow. In PAH, it dilates lung vessels. Effects start within 30 minutes, peak at 2 hours, and last up to 36 hours, known as the “weekend pill.” Sexual stimulation is required for ED efficacy.
